1890-1900's Small Oak S-Roll Top Ladies Secretary Desk
A very nice smaller size solid oak secretary desk. This is an S-roll style, with nice tambours, circa 1890-1900. Each side of the top section has a letter slot for recieving mail when the desk is locked. There are four drawers down the right side, which have a locking mechanism. The mechanism will lock all of the drawers when the S-roll is shut and locked. There is a key. The side and back panels of the desk are recessed, making the desk attractive even if used in the center of a room. The handles of the desk are original, as is the brass Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. desk lock, which is patent dated Dec. 16, '84. The desk has been restored, and has new canvas tambour cloth. Dimensions of the S-Roll top secretary desk are; 41 1/2" wide, 29 3/4" deep, and 48 1/4" tall. A useful and beautiful desk, in room-ready condition for your home or office!
