1900's Quarter Sawn Oak Claw Foot Library Desk w/ Chair
Library desks have regained some popularity in the last few years due to the fact that they make great computer desks. This is a larger size library desk, circa 1900's, and it is certainly up to the task! The desk has been professionally refinished, and is a dark rich golden oak. The wood has beautiful quarter sawn grain. The cabriole legs end in three toe claw feet. Each top corner of the desk has a hand carved leaf design panel adorning it. The undershelf curves attractively. There is a wide drawer in front. Under the drawer is a partial delivery label to a lady in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. Dimensions of the desk are; 29 ½" tall, 45 ½" wide, and 28" deep. The chair we found to go with the desk is a lovely match, solid dark oak with a curved T-Back and a nice scrolled leaf design carved in the back slat. The front chair feet are three toe claw feet. The chair is 39" tall, and the seat is 18 1/4" wide, and 16 ½" deep. An elegant desk and chair set for all of your paperwork!
