1860's-70's Walnut Rococo "Turtle Top" Marble Top Parlor Table
Room-ready and gorgeous, this very elegant Victorian parlor table is just the thing for your Victorian home! The parlor table has very curved legs with scrolled carving on each side. The under shelf has an 8" tall ribbed finial in the center. The finish is a mellow medium gold-brown and appears to be original (walnut is the only wood that gets lighter with age). The only two imperfections are hard to see. The "turtle top" marble has a 3/4" chip on one lower edge. Since it is on the bottom of the marble, it is not noticeable, but it must be mentioned for accuracy. The other imperfection is actually a manufacturer flaw. The finial has one side that is smooth, rather than ribbed. It is not noticeable, but it makes the table rather unique. Dimensions of the parlor table are: 34 3/4" long, 25" deep, and 29" tall. These measurements are with the marble on the table. If you have been looking for that perfect occasional table, this may be the one for you!
