1930's 12 Panel Caramel, Blue & Purple Slag Glass Table Lamp
This attractive lamp is in original condition, except that it has been re-wired for safety. The slag glass panels are in excellent condition, with only a little edge chipping on one blue panel inside. It does not show. There are six caramel trapezoid panels and six blue/purple swirled rectangular panels. The shade frame and base are bronze tone metal. The design on the shade frame is of lyres, scrolls and laurel wreaths. The candlestick shaped base flares out at the bottom, with a simple fern pattern. The shade is supported by three arms and a figured canopy. The lamp socket is bakelite. Dimensions of the lamp are: 21 ½" overall height, and the shade is 16" in diameter. It is not marked. This lovely lamp would make and excellent study or accent piece for a mission style home!
