Victorian Beaver Skin Chatelaine Dance Purse with Hidden Note pad

This is our most unique purse for sale; a tiny round beaver skin chatelaine (or dance) purse. It has a short brass chain with a ring attached. It was made to hold in the palm of your hand, or to dangle from your finger. The oval silver plated brass top has a simple yet attractive scroll pattern. When you press the front button it pops open. The notepad is hidden in the top. There are 3 "pages" revealed when you swing the top to the left. The bottom page has the original owners name and address: "Mrs. Clyde Cope, 2108 So. Robinson Ave., Milwaukee, Wisc." Personal information always adds to the uniqueness of a piece. Dimensions are; 6" overall length with chain extended; the body of the purse is 3 1/4" wide, and 3 3/8" Long. The beaver skin is in excellent condition, showing one 1" X 1 ½" spot of wear on the back side. If you have been looking to add a unique purse to your collection, this is it!
