1890's - 1900's Oak Hall Seat w/Waist & Applied Carving
This is a very elegant reminder of by-gone times, but still useful today! This solid oak hall seat has applied leaf design carving, a slender "waist" at the center back, and curved arms and feet. The lift top opening in the seat is for the usual assortment of shoes, gloves, etc. The original rectangular beveled mirror is in excellent condition, with only one age spot on the left side. The four double coat hangers are copper with heavy dark patina. It has been professionally refinished. Dimensions of this hall seat are: 31 3/8" wide at the widest point, 80" overall height, and 15 1/2" deep. A beautiful and timeless entryway piece ready for years of use and enjoyment!
