1920's Large Blue & Caramel Slag Glass Brass Hanging Lamp
We are very pleased to offer this lamp at our shop. We recently acquired it from an estate in fine, room-ready condition. There are 8 upper caramel slag glass panels and 8 lower blue slag glass panels. The frame is brass with filigree swagged panels. There are 8 blue slag glass rectangular panels, each 8 1/4" long by 4 1/4" wide. There are eight caramel slag trapezoid panels, each 8 1/4" wide by 8 3/8" long. The total dimensions of the lamp are: 12" tall and 21" in diameter. It has a large, heavy chain with 13, 2 ½" long links. The ceiling cap is 8" long. It could hang as long as 41" from the ceiling. We are currently using a 75 watt large decorative light bulb. The name "Ostrander" appears on the switch. The lamp retains its original patina and looks spectacular... a fine piece of decorative lighting.
