Victorian Rogers & Brothers Figural Fan & Butterfly Napkin Ring

This is an elegant silverplate napkin ring from a Massachusetts collection. It is marked "Rogers & Bro.," with a fist of lightning bolts and the number 208 on the underside of the base. The design is fan & butterfly; the fans are supporting the ring, with a butterfly under the ring. It is triple silverplate and the plating is in good but worn condition. There is an old repair to one of the fans where it meets the base, and a slight bend in the base near the corner. The dimensions of the napkin ring are: 3" tall, and the base is 2 1/4" square. It rests on 3/8" diameter ball feet, and a floral pattern runs ½" wide around the base. A nice and affordable addition to a figural napkin ring collection!
