N.Y.N.H. & H.R.R. Peter Gray Brass Semaphore Lamp
A very nice brass Peter Gray & Sons semaphore for the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad. Someone cleverly
converted this fine piece into a table lamp. It is embossed on the fuel container door "NYNH & HRR," "Peter Gray & Sons
Inc., Patented Dec. 11, 1911.," and on the top lid of the semaphore "Gray Boston." Of course it is missing the fuel container,
but it still has the original 5" diameter clear glass lense. It has been cleaned, then someone put a clear coat to protect the
finish. It stands 27 1/4" tall with the shade and finial. The semaphore is 13 3/4" tall, and the shade is 17" in diameter and 11
½" tall. This brass semaphore is sure to please any railroad collector. . . especially if they need a little extra light!
