1875 Landers, Frary & Clark Cast Iron "The Balls" Counter Top Coffee Grinder
A harder to find and quaint coffee grinder in all original and "as found" condition. This counter top coffee grinder is marked "L.F. &C., New Britain, Conn., U.S.A." All parts are original to this grinder and are in working condition. The base is a square, beveled edge wood piece 7/8" thick, and the grinder is attached to it by three flat head screws. The stenciling, which decorated the front upper and lower "balls," is long gone. There is no rust, just a little dust! The porcelain handle on the cast iron drawer is somewhat blackened with a chip out of the side at the base. The wood handle is in fine condition. Dimensions of the coffee grinder are: 6 ½" by 6 1/4" base, and 12 ½" tall to top point of the cover. A great piece for display... or use!
