1892 Mappin & Webb Sterling Salt Dip Set in Original Box

This 1892 Mappin & Webb sterling salt dip set is in excellent used condition. This set includes 4 salt dips with 4 matching spoons, along with the octagon satin and velvet lined box. The box does still have the original label on the inside of the satin lined top, and the outside of the box is leather. The hinge of the box does not work, and one of the satin lid supports is no longer attached. The salt dips each have the hallmarks on the back. The dimensions of the 4 salt dips are: 2 3/8" by 2 3/8" octagon, and 1" tall. The spoons are 2 ½" long. The box in 8" octagon, and 1 1/4" tall. This very nice set of salt dips would be perfect for your fancy dining set, so own it today!

Dimensions of the 4 salt dips are: 2 3/8" by 2 3/8" octagon, and 1" tall.

The spoons are 2 1/2" long.

The original label on the inside top of the satin lined box.

There is a hallmark on the bottom of each of the salt dips.

Dimensions of the leather octagon shaped box are: 8" octagon adn 1 1/4" tall. The box is lined with satin on the inside top, and on the inside bottom it is lined with velvet.

There is one satin lid support that is not attached and does not work.
