Hopalong Cassidy Binoculars by Galter
A very fun and collectible set of binoculars for you Hoppy fans! This 1950's set of binoculars is in original condition, and were made by the Galter Product Company , Chicago, Illinois. They are black painted metal with glass lens, and plastic strap. The Hoppy decal shows Hoppy galloping along on Topper in a cloud of dust. The center of the decal shows some chipping and wear from use, and the "a-l-o" in "Hopalong Cassidy" is worn off. The decal still shows excellent detail. The black painted metal is original and shows some wear around the base and sharp edges where they would have been held. The glass lenses are intact and are not scratched up. The plastic strap is original, and is intact. The center knob allows for sight adjustment, and still works. Dimensions of the binoculars are; 5 1/8'long, 4 7/16"wide, and 2" thick at the widest point. Considering the age of the binoculars, they are in great shape! These would be a great addition to an extensive and serious Hoppy collection!
