Denver & Rio Grande Railroad 1895-1908 A&W Lantern w/ Clear Etched "D&RG" Tall Melon Globe
Here is a very nice Denver & Rio Grande Railroad lantern that is all tin! The frame stands 10 ½" tall without the bail, and has only been cleaned of oil & dirt. It is in excellent condition with lots of original tin. Very straight. It is embossed on the edge of the top lid "D&RGRR, The Adams & Westlake Company, Chicago, New York", with the last embossed patent date of "May 28, 1895", and is stamped "PAT. May 5, 1908" to the right. The 5 3/8" tall clear melon globe is etched "D&RG". The globe is in excellent to near mint condition with no rim flea bites or chips. The lantern comes with the correct A&W fount & burner that is all tin and will still hold oil and burn. Here is your chance to own a very nice double wire guard Adams & Westlake Co. lantern made for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad!

The lantern is embossed on the on the top lid " D&RGRR, The Adams & Westlake Co., New York, Chicago", and is 100% tin!
The clear etched "D&RGRR" 5 3/8 " tall melon globe is in excellent to near mint condition with no flea bites or rim chips.
The frame has only been cleaned of oil & dirt. It has 100% tin, very straight! It stands 10 1/2" tall without the bail.
The lantern frame is embossed on the edge of the lid with the patent date "May 28, 1895", and is stamped "PAT. May 5, 1908" to the right.
The bottom of the frame is in excellent to near mint condition.
The lantern comes with the original A&W fount & burner that has lots of tin and will still hold oil and burn.
